Dr. Kumaravelu works in the Pharmacology division, CSIR- Central Drug Research Institute. His research team seeks to understand and elucidate the molecular mechanisms of cardiac diseases. Abnormal vessel growth has been shown to have consequences in several diseases. Our team’s goal is to discover novel angiogenic and lymphangiogenic modulators/mechanisms regulating the fate for improving cardiac health.
